Looking after your personal information
At Stag Environmental Ltd (“Stag Environmental Ltd”, “we”, “our”) we are committed to respecting your privacy and to complying with applicable data protection and privacy laws.
Data Protection Legislation
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies from May 2018. It places data protection obligations on us, making us more accountable and transparent when we use your personal information.
Our Privacy Information Notice:
The type of personal information we collect is kept to an absolute minimum for us to communicate and supply you with enquiry responses or our goods and services. This is typically only your name (and DOB for finance applications) and the other elements are business details such as postal address, telephone number, email address and other key contact information. We understand many of our clients have a cross-over with personal and business contact information so we treat all data captured in the same way, as personally identifiable data. If you choose to provide us with personal information it will only be used in support of the intended purposes stated at the time at which it was collected.
Personal information which you provide to us may be used for business purposes including:
• To keep records of your requirements
• To prepare paperwork for your finance application
• For accounting and regulatory purposes
• To keep you informed on our services
We may share information about you with other firms including finance companies. If you make a transaction using our services, we will keep your data for ten years after the end of the contract. If you do not make a transaction, we will keep your data for three years.
Security
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, accidental loss and/or destruction, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect. Please be aware that communications over the Internet, such as emails, are not secure unless they have been encrypted. Your communications may route through several countries before being delivered – this is the nature of the World Wide Web/Internet. Stag Environmental Ltd cannot accept responsibility for any unauthorised access or loss of personal information that is beyond our control
What GDPR means for you
You now have more control over your personal information. You can find out more about how we handle your personal information. You have the ‘right to be forgotten’, which means you can ask us to delete or remove your personal information if there is no compelling reason for us to
keep it.
We will only process your personal information if we have a lawful basis for doing so, for example, managing your Agreement(s) with the different funders, as a result of a legal obligation or with your consent.
