Stag’s Winter Race Day at Taunton Racecourse
On Saturday 17th January, we enjoyed a fantastic winter race day at Taunton Racecourse, soaking up the sunshine and the atmosphere at one of the South West’s most popular racecourses ❄️☀️. The event marked another successful date in our ongoing seasonal presence at Taunton Races, where we are exhibiting every month throughout the racing season.
Proud Race Sponsors at Taunton Races
We were proud to sponsor the third race of the day, which was won in style by Kilworth, trained by Emma Lavelle and ridden by champion jockey Sean Bowen 🏆🏇. After also winning the first and second races, Sean completed an impressive treble and later joined us for a well-earned rest in the Polaris XP1000 — a vehicle perfectly suited to a champion rider.
Celebrating West Country Racing Success
The day was made even more special by the appearance of Frodon, the legendary West Country racehorse, who paraded before racing to the delight of the crowd. Local trainer David Pipe then went on to win the fourth race for the Edwards family, a firm favourite in the Exmoor racing community, rounding off a brilliant afternoon of local success.
Exhibiting Polaris UTVs and Accessories at Taunton Racecourse
As part of our monthly exhibition at Taunton Racecourse, it has been fantastic to meet new customers and speak with visitors about the Polaris UTV range, including vehicles built for performance, reliability, and versatility.
We’ve also enjoyed discussing the wide range of UTV accessories and implements we supply from leading manufacturers, including:
Chapman Machinery
Valstone Engineering
Howard Marshall Engineering
Gamic
These accessories are ideal for agricultural, equestrian, estate, and land management use, and events like Taunton Races are a great opportunity to demonstrate how they work in real-world environments. A Strong Presence at Taunton Races This Season
Despite a lack of luck in the betting ring for Team Stag, the day was a huge success and another highlight in our season-long partnership with Taunton Racecourse.
We’re looking forward to continuing our monthly exhibitions at Taunton Races, meeting more racing fans, landowners, and businesses, and showcasing the best in Polaris UTVs and accessories throughout the season.
