Team Stag

Who’s who in the world of Stag

At Stag, our people are at the heart of everything we do.

Each member of Team Stag brings their own experience, specialist knowledge and personality to the business. From sales and customer support to our workshop and Polaris-trained technicians, we work together to provide the knowledgeable, dependable service our customers rely on.

Pete 1200x800

Pete Day

Owner & Founder

Pete might hate being called “the boss,” but as Director of Stag, there’s no denying who’s at the helm. With deep roots in the countryside and a no-nonsense, sleeves-rolled-up attitude forged on a farm, Pete brings a wealth of practical experience and sharp instinct to the table.

Well-known and highly respected across the shooting fraternity, Pete has spent years in the thick of it—managing fleets of UTVs on Exmoor, getting his hands dirty, and dealing firsthand with the frustrations of subpar service and underperforming machines. Rather than put up with it, he took action. During the uncertainty of the Covid era, Pete made a bold move: he approached Polaris with a vision to become a dealer. With their rock-solid reputation and growing dominance in the industry, it was a perfect fit. The partnership was sealed in 2021.

But Pete’s history with Polaris goes way back—he cut his teeth racing the Predator and Outlaw for them in the 2000s, so the brand was already in his blood.

Setting up the workshop from scratch was a true hands-on mission, complete with late nights, dusty corners, and some trial-and-error ramp placement—always with his loyal dog Holly watching from her bed in the corner, never far from his side.

Today, Pete leads a team he’s immensely proud of. Compliments flow regularly from customers and peers, but if you asked the Stag crew, they’d say the same about him: fair, generous, and a boss in title only—because with Pete, everyone’s in it together.

Fran 1200x800

Fran Bell

PR & Marketing

Fran is more than just Pete’s better half - she’s the steady force that keeps both him and the business grounded. With deep roots in the Exmoor community, Fran brings an unbeatable combination of local knowledge, warmth, and communication skills that make her a natural networker and a key asset to Stag.

Her background in the equine world has given her a lifelong connection to the land, animals, and the people who work it — all of which translates beautifully into her role at Stag. Over the years, Fran has also been at the helm of numerous events, drawing on her extensive experience in event management and her keen eye for detail. She's especially passionate about charity fundraising, often combining her love for community and causes close to her heart.

Fran’s also a proud advocate of the Synch Ebike range (which we’re proud to stock), and it’s not unusual to see her dropping off demo vehicles to potential customers before effortlessly riding home on her Synch bike — usually with a smile and a wave.

Iain 1200x800

Iain Enright

Service & Support Manager

When Pete secured the Polaris Dealership status for Stag in 2021, one of his smartest moves was bringing Iain on board as his right-hand man. Known around here as “Stagman”, Iain is the engine behind our reputation for outstanding service and support - always going the extra mile (sometimes literally) to keep our customers moving.

With over 22 years of industry experience, Iain brings a level of pride, expertise, and dedication that sets the bar for the entire team (it’s rumoured that he was born with a spanner in his hand!). Whether he's in the workshop, on the road, or advising from afar, his influence can be felt in every machine we service and every breakdown we prevent.

When he’s not elbows-deep in machinery (which isn’t often), you’ll likely find Iain tearing it up on a motocross track—often side-by-side with one or more of his three sons. It’s a full family affair, with support from his wife Cara, who watches nervously from the sidelines and quietly prays they all make it home in one piece.

In 2025, Iain and Cara welcomed their first grandchild, and we’re already convinced there’s another little "Stagman" in the making.

Somehow, Iain still finds time for Friday night darts and never misses a chance to rally the team with a round of Jägerbombs. He’s the first at the bar, the last to leave the workshop, and always the guy you want in your corner.

Liam at Stag

Liam Herd

Service Workshop Foreman

Liam joined the team in 2023 as a service technician and quickly rose through the ranks to become our service workshop foreman—a reflection of both his expertise and dedication to the job. He makes the daily journey from North Devon, where he lives with his partner Billie and their much-loved dogs, Ollie and Polka (proudly referred to as their “children”).

Fun fact: Polka was bred by Pete and Fran, and is a regular visitor to Stag HQ with her big brother Ollie.

Since day one, Liam has become an integral part of the Stag family—not just for his skills in the workshop, but for his easygoing nature and team spirit. Outside of work, you’re likely to find him tearing up the trails on his mountain bike alongside Iain and Tom, making the most of their weekends off with some off-road adventures.

Keri 1200x800

Keri Cook

Office Manager

Keri joined Stag in 2023 as our very first Office Manager – a role created out of sheer necessity as the behind-the-scenes workload grew. With a background rooted in the fast-paced world of horseracing on Exmoor, and later in similar administrative roles, Keri brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the rural community we’re proud to serve.

From day one, she’s fitted in effortlessly, becoming an essential part of the Stag team, along with her little canine sidekick, Willow, who joins her in the office most days and has developed a sneaky habit of wandering into the workshop in search of treats from Liam.

Living locally with her two sons – both frequent (and enthusiastic) visitors to Stag HQ – Keri juggles family life with impressive ease. When she’s not on the sidelines of a rugby pitch or running the Mum taxi service, she still occasionally swaps her office shoes for riding boots to get her speed-fix on the gallops at the weekends.
